Last Childhood Rhyme!!!

Yesterday was
My Aunt’s sister’s funeral
The day gave me
A feel that was thriving ethereal

The moment she saw the corpse,
Her hands ran towards sister’s forehead in remorse…
The moment made me shiver,
As I empathized
with it
To give my thought a deep quiver …

The hand that played those “Clapping Games”
Was lying deceased…
The voice that hummed her “Crispy Call”
Was certainly the now numb…

Those rhymes of childhood
Sharing the same platter
Quarreling for larger piece of chocolate
Fighting with pillows
Till on the same bed they shatter…

Comparing  the heights,
Those long stupid fights
Teasing on silly mistakes
Being angry with each other
was always so fake…

No one else can mess up with the sis,
Attitude is protective for her
So better give it amiss…

Tears rolled down my eyes
Pain of losing younger sister
Was felt in her voice
The real love of sister
So affectionate and caring
Fighting, supporting each other..
And those secrets’ sharing…

At last my aunt bade her “Final” Good Bye
Some feelings expressed from her glance…
“I wish I had a chance to talk to her One Last time…
One last fight, one last hug
One last moment to express how much I love her…
I wish I could recite with her…
One last Childhood Rhyme!!!”

The ultimate distress:

The building was heard talking to someone,
And she was crying with every line heard…
On paying attention, her partner was found;
Who was sharing its sorrow -dreading and profound...

It was the blooming “Peepal tree”
That held the ground to preserve greenery…
Today grasping its last breath cadre;
It was cut for building another skyscraper…

He said to his best friend- “the building”
“Hey My dear mate!
I lost my friends while you were constructed,
But I found you were nice and pleasant...
I wanted to give the kids a longer shade,
So to say Goodbye today I hesitate...
Thanks for your tender friendship,
Ask this new building to become your new partnership...
And take care of this sweet society kinship!”

To this; the building replied,
“I will miss you my best mate,
As no else can cool down the hot chimney heat…
The rains will be no more the same,
They will fall on the little kids as acid rain…
No more soothing breeze to flow,
That keeps this kinship relaxed and enclosed…
The artificial building cannot be the best pal,

Nor for me and neither for the world -it’s noble!”
